Thomas E. Arnold, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon who’s been treating patients at Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center since 1997. The practice has three offices conveniently located in Port Jefferson Station, Hauppauge, and Riverhead, New York.
Dr. Arnold graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before earning his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then went back to Philadelphia to complete his surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He stayed in Philadelphia to finish his medical training with a vascular fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
In addition to his practice at Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center, Dr. Arnold is also an active member of the surgical department in several local hospitals.
Highly accomplished in his field, Dr. Arnold is board-certified in vascular surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and enjoys membership in the Medical Society of the State of New York. His skills as a surgeon have been lauded by Newsday, who’s named him a Top Doctor, and Castle Connolly Medical, who’s recognized him as a Top Doctor every year for the past 15 years.
In his practice, Dr. Arnold maintains a comprehensive focus on all areas of vascular surgery and medicine including conventional open and endovascular procedures. He’s adept at performing dialysis access procedures, leg bypass surgeries, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, and carotid artery surgery. He’s also skilled at treating varicose veins with minimally invasive procedures.
