Sarit Sandowski-Pizow, D.O. is a vascular surgeon at Suffolk Vascular Associates and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. She is a Long Island native and has completed most of her training here as well.
Dr. Sandowski-Pizow received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a general surgery residency at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital General Surgery Residency Program, formerly known as the East End Health Alliance, and subsequently completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Northwell Health at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medial Center.
Dr. Sandowski-Pizow is trained in both open vascular and endovascular surgery. She cares for patients in all areas of vascular and endovascular surgery including aortic aneurysms, carotid and cerebrovascular disease, limb salvage, dialysis access, varicose veins, and vein disorders.
